Effective
October 27 update: Added the optional Waitlist form and its privacy choice.
What this site stores
LiTiL Labs uses local storage to remember privacy choices. Local storage is a record kept by your browser for a website; unlike a cookie, it is not automatically attached to every request. The optional Waitlist form may also use provider cookies and other device storage when you allow it to load.
| Name / type | Purpose and contents | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
litil.privacy-choice.v1Local storage · this website origin | Remembers permission or refusal for externalImages and externalForms. Contains a format version, privacy scope, category choices and save/expiry timestamps. No email address or visitor identifier. | 180 days after either choice, unless cleared sooner. An expired or invalid record grants no permission. |
This preference supports the privacy controls. It is saved only when you make a choice; closing the dialog or scrolling grants no permission. It is not a signup record or a central consent account.
The optional product image
External product images controls one Fourthwall-hosted product photo on the shop page. It is off by default. Allowing it sends Fourthwall an image request, including your IP address, browser information and possibly this site’s address. We do not claim that this image sets a tracking cookie.
Rejecting the image leaves the product link available. You can accept, reject or adjust the choice through Privacy preferences.
Turning it off removes the image and stops our page from loading it again while that choice applies. It cannot undo a completed request, erase Fourthwall’s records or cookies, or change settings on the shop itself.
The optional Waitlist form
Embedded form and provider tracking controls the Waitlist signup form on the buttons page. It is off by default and separate from the product-image choice. Allowing it loads the form with Waitlist’s security, analytics and advertising services. They receive your IP address and browser information and may use cookies or other storage before you enter an email.
This choice controls the whole form. It cannot turn off individual services inside it. Loading the form does not subscribe you. You can keep it off and open Waitlist’s hosted signup page, which uses its own services under Waitlist’s Privacy Policy.
Turning the choice off removes the embedded form and stops our page from loading it again while that choice applies. It cannot undo completed requests, delete provider cookies or records, change the separate hosted page, or unsubscribe you from email.
Your browser and your choice
Permission and refusal have the same 180-day lifetime. Preferences stay with this browser and website origin; another device or preview address has its own choice. If browser storage is blocked, your explicit choice applies only to the current page. The controls display a warning when they cannot save it.
Clearing site storage removes the saved preference. Optional content will remain off until a new choice permits it. The controls do not automatically change a saved choice in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
Requests and outside sites
Ordinary hosting requests still occur when you visit this site. Our fonts and NVIDIA badge load from this site. Following the hosted signup or shop link opens a separate service that can use its own cookies, storage and tracking under its own policies. Waitlist’s hosted page loads its security, analytics and advertising services independently of your embedded-form choice here. These preferences do not control another site or unsubscribe you from email.
The 180-day setting is a browser-preference lifetime, not a deletion period for email, order information or provider logs. Read our Privacy Notice for those data flows and your request options. Questions: aaron [at] litil [dot] ai.
